What we’ve been up to.

Celebrating the holidays

In early December, the Emerald Isle Fire Department (EIFD) hosted its highly anticipated annual Christmas party at Bar 1957, a popular venue located in Emerald Isle. This festive gathering featured a delightful catering service provided by Gaffers.

The evening was filled with joy and laughter, as attendees celebrated the holiday spirit together. Many attendees embraced the festive theme by donning their most creative and amusing ugly sweaters, contributing to the lighthearted atmosphere of the event.

Overall, the party was a resounding success, fostering camaraderie among the members and their families. The EI Fire Auxiliary looks forward to continuing to support this yearly event in the years to come.

Supporting
Spring Training

The fire department conducts trainings regularly to improve upon their skills to best serve the community of Emerald Isle. During some of the trainings that took place this spring, the auxiliary was able to provide snacks and hydration to personnel to support them through their training efforts.

In January 2024 after months of researching and document writing, the Emerald Isle Fire Auxiliary was established as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Members are friends and family of the firefighters, paramedics, and ocean rescue personnel who serve the Emerald Isle community. We are excited about this opportunity to support the men and women that make the EIFD great.

We are just getting started with this new adventure and are always looking for new members who have awesome ideas for events, fundraisers, and anything that will support our fire department and the Emerald Isle community.
